The Rongai Route begins on the northern side of Mount Kilimanjaro. It is a long drive to the starting point, but you are rewarded by fantastic views and sometimes you will be the only climbers around; Rongai route advantage and disadvantages .

If you take this route up the mountain, you are obliged by park rules to descend via the Marangu Route, which is the most popular and well used route.

Parkview Inn is located in Moshi, Tanzania. The hotel is 40km away from Kilimanjaro International Airport which is serviced daily by KLM and other regional airlines. If you are arriving by bus or shuttle, the hotel is less than 5min away from the bus station.
