After a gradual ascend through the forest you emerge to see wide views of the moorland on Shira plateau, Kibo, Western Breach and the different kinds of vegetation along the way. We approach the summit with an acclimatization day by hiking at high altitude from Barafu Camp to the Karranga Valley Camp.
