6 Days Machame Route Itinerary
The Machame route, known as the "Whiskey" route, is now the most popular route on the mountain.Machame route approaches from the southwest and descends through Mweka.
Day by day itinerary for the 6 day Machame climb on Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania and transfer to the hotel
Arrive
in Tanzania via Kilimanjaro International airport (JRO) Kilimanjaro
Brothers staff will pick you up and transfer to Moshi town where you
will spend the first night at Park View Hotel www.pvim.com
Those who will arrival through Jomo Kenyatta International Airport
(JKA) in Kenya, we will pick them and transfer by Shuttle bus http://riverside-shuttle.com to Moshi.

hotel is located in Moshi, Tanzania. The hotel is 40 km away from
Kilimanjaro International Airport which is serviced daily by KLM and
other regional airlines. If you arrive by bus or shuttle, the hotel is
less than 5 min away from the bus station. All
rooms offer the following services and amenities: Individually
controlled air conditioning, Safety deposit box, En-suite washroom with
hot shower/bath, Mini-refrigerator, Telephone, Work table with
comfortable chairs. Complimentary WIFI Internet access, Cable

Day 2: Drive to Machame Gate (1,640 meters or 5,380 ft) and Climbing to Machame Camp/Machame hut (2,850 meters or 9,350 ft)

Day 5: Climbing
from Barranco Camp to Karanga Valley Camp (3,995 meters or 13,106 feet)
after lunch continue from Karanga Valley to Barafu (4.673 meters to
15,331 feet) Hiking hours 4- 5 hours.

Day 6: Climbing to Uhuru Peak (5,895 meters or 19,341feet) and descend to Mweka Camp (10,000ft)

Day 7: Descend
from Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate (1,640 meters or 5,340 feet) 3 - 4 hours
and distance 10 Km or 6 Miles. Transfer to the hotel for summit
certificate and cerebration party. Overnight at Park View Hotel www.pvim.com

Total distance covered is 62 Km or 37 miles

Day 8: Transfer to airport or continue with safari
End of climb.
